Beautiful, luxurious farm accommodation with a very nice view of the pond and mountains. We only stayed one night in the Morado Cottage and it was definitely too short. The beautiful, luxurious unit sleeps 2 people in a large bedroom with a king size bed with quality white linen. The en-suite bathroom has a beautiful bath in front of the window with the most beautiful view of the mountains, and a nice big shower with a wonderful spray head. The water was warm immediately and was lovely to shower. There were plenty of good quality white bath towels to use. The sink had a large mirror where you could comfortably apply your makeup. There was excellent quality hand soap, hand cream in the bathroom to use. The kitchen was equipped with a gas stove, oven and refrigerator. There was ice in the freezer to use. Quality crockery, cutlery was provided to make your stay comfortable. There was a table and two chairs to eat comfortably, as well as a couch to admire the beautiful nature. Large sliding doors lead outside with a braai area and a view of the pond and the mountains. Bring your own wood or you can buy wood from the hostess at a reasonable price. There was free WiFi which worked great. Kromrivier was "off the grid" so no loadshedding, which was very nice. There was no TV, you just hear all the night sounds, it was like music to your ears. The luxury unit was really a treat with everything of high quality and quality to ensure the guests the best stay. There was also a small fireplace in the kitchen/living/dining room and wood was provided for lighting the first fire. We did not use it but will definitely go back again to experience that experience as well. For now it was just, to sit outside in front of the braai fire and stare at the beautiful view of the dam and mountains around you. We had a beautiful sunset with the most beautiful night sounds. We really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend Kromrivier for a fantastic experience and stay.
