Eningu Kalahari Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of Namibia’s camelthorn savannah, ideally situated approximately 1.5 hours from Windhoek and within 55 km to 60 km of Hosea Kutako International Airport. Constructed entirely from handcrafted clay bricks, the lodge blends naturally into the surrounding landscape and creates a warm and tranquil atmosphere. Surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty, the lodge provides an ideal retreat for guests seeking relaxation, privacy, and an authentic Namibian experience.
Accommodation is offered in 9 individually positioned rooms, each with a private entrance and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The lodge comprises 1 Twin Room, 1 Double Room, 6 Triple Rooms, and 1 Family Unit. Each room is furnished with comfortable beds and features an outdoor seating area where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Guests have access to a swimming pool, on-site bar and restaurant, and free Wi-Fi access. The lodge offers a relaxed setting where guests can unwind after a day spent exploring the surrounding bushveld. Outdoor spaces throughout the property provide opportunities to enjoy the quiet atmosphere and scenic views of the savannah landscape.
A variety of activities can be enjoyed at Eningu Kalahari Lodge, including well-marked walking trails that showcase the natural beauty, geology, history, and wildlife of the area. Various wildlife species, including oryx, springbok, impala, eland, kudu, warthog, baboon, and steenbok, are frequently spotted near the waterhole and along the walking trails. Porcupines, known locally as “Eningu” in Oshiwambo, are also often seen feeding during the evening hours.
