Flight of the Eagle @ Kruger is a luxurious holiday home situated in Marloth Park along the southern border of the Kruger National Park. The Crocodile River and the park fence are the only divisions between the home and the Kruger, allowing guests to enjoy frequent sightings of free-roaming wildlife and birdlife in a tranquil bushveld setting.
The home can accommodate 4 adults and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen size bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds. Quality bedding and bath towels are provided, while guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area includes comfortable leather couches and a TV with Netflix, while complimentary Wi-Fi access is also available. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a 6-plate gas stove, electric oven, double-door fridge-freezer, and a dining area.
Guests can relax in the swimming pool or make use of the elevated entertainment area overlooking the surrounding bushveld. Additional outdoor facilities include a boma with braai facilities and a fire pit, creating an ideal setting for outdoor dining and evening gatherings. A variety of birds and wildlife are frequently spotted around the patio area, particularly during the early mornings and late afternoons.
Aircons run from a pre-paid meter and guests are responsible for loading and paying for the facility.
The property is fitted with an 80% solar backup system and a water tank to assist during load-shedding or water supply interruptions. During electricity outages from the supplier, the solar system will provide backup power, although availability may be affected during extended periods of poor weather conditions.
