Gypsy Vans Weskus offers two unique wooden gypsy caravans in the peaceful coastal village of Jacobsbaai on the Cape West Coast. Each unit features a private wood-fired hot tub, which can also be enjoyed as a refreshing splash pool during the warmer months, along with a king-size bed, Smart TV, complimentary fibre Wi-Fi and all the comforts needed for a relaxing self-catering stay.
Located within walking distance of the beach, local restaurants and a convenience store, Gypsy Vans Weskus provides the perfect blend of privacy, comfort and convenience for couples or solo travellers looking for a memorable West Coast escape.
The two units, Leopard Rose and Peacock, are similar in layout, space and amenities, each accommodating up to two guests. While both offer the same level of comfort, each has its own distinctive character and atmosphere. Friends or family travelling together can book both units, enjoying shared experiences while still having their own private retreat.
Positioned alongside one another, each gypsy caravan is fully enclosed for privacy and protected from the coastal wind with thoughtfully designed shade structures and tented canopies. Each unit features its own enclosed garden, outdoor seating area and braai facilities, creating a peaceful space to relax and unwind.
Guests can enjoy a well-equipped outdoor kitchenette complete with a 2-plate gas stove, bar fridge, crockery, cutlery, cookware, braai equipment and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Quality linen, towels and essential amenities are provided, while firewood for the braai and hot tub is available for purchase on site.
Set within a larger fully fenced property, the units offer additional peace of mind and security, making them ideal for couples, solo travellers and single female guests.
We are pet-friendly by prior arrangement and welcome small to medium-sized dogs, with a maximum of two pets per booking. Jacobsbaai's beautiful coastal walkways provide the perfect setting for scenic seaside strolls. Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash when outside the enclosed unit gardens, as resident animals live on the larger property.
