The perfect getaway with 360 degree views. This stone cottage is the perfect place if you need a break from the rat race. The tranquility of its location with views of mountains and no city noises. The 4 km drive from the gate to arrive at the cottage at 770 m above sea level was so much fun. Some skill and a capable 4x4 vehicle is required. I was a little disappointed that the 4x4 route was closed for driving, but it didn't stop me from walking the route, which was just as beautiful, if not better.

Cozy, quiet stay out in nature. Beautiful cottage, it was an absolute pleasure staying at Klipspringer. It had everything we needed. It was cozy and surprisingly pristine for an isolated mountain cottage. We took a hike up the jeep trail to see some spectacular views. We will definitely book again (bringing along extra bags of firewood!). It was quite cold and many layers were needed, but it was all part of the charm of drinking hot chocolate by the roaring fire. This place is a hidden gem of quiet, untouched solitude. It was such a treasured stay I'm hesitant to tell others about it!

Beautiful. Stunning up there, really loved the quiet and isolation. Would have liked an umbrella for the outside patio; however, maybe not there as guests don't put it down and then it gets damaged. Walking paths do need a little attention, quite a lot of bushes in the path which scratch, but not major. Lovely and clean.

One of the best 4x4 getaways in SA. We have been visiting Klipspringer for many years, and it remains one of the best and most favourite destinations for us. The isolation/privacy, views, fresh air and the cozy accommodation are simply unbeatable and highly recommended. Pack your hiking boots, lots to read and enough firewood - this place is simply divine.

Beautiful isolated cabin. Beautiful location requiring a decent 4x4. Lovely isolated spot with all the necessary items. Take lots of wood in winter. The owner could have recommended the hike to the beautiful gorge up the right-hand 4x4 path when asked.
