Silence and solitude and stark rocky beauty! Soutpoort has been on our 'Bucket List' for years. It did not disappoint! The valley is like a mini 'valley of desolation'. The silence is so big, you can almost touch it! The stars were spectacular! Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the splash-pool. We had a lovely stay. Perfect hidden gem. Although we had very little time, the location was perfect for what we needed. We will return in summer to make full use of the facilities and enjoy the pool as well.
