The Ginger Pig Inn is a peaceful, private farm cottage on Mooihoek Farm just outside Clarens, offering a quiet escape surrounded by mountains, fresh country air, and wide open space.
The cottage features 2 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet and a shower. The first bedroom can accommodate 2 adults and 1 infant, and is furnished with a queen-size bed and a cot. The second bedroom sleeps 2 guests and is furnished with 2 single beds.
The cottage is warm, cosy, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It includes a full kitchen with a gas stove and oven, solar power, Wi Fi, Netflix, and thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The private garden is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee, reading in the sun, or braaing while taking in the views.
The farm is home to friendly cattle, Potch Koekoek chickens, peacocks, and four lovable farm dogs who may come to greet guests. Guests are welcome to walk the farm, visit the dam, enjoy the open fields, or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings.
