Baie lekker plek. Net 'n hond wat blaf.

Baie lekker gebly. Alhoewel daar 'n groot blaffende hond langs aan die hele nag en oggend deur geblaf het. Het geen slaap gekry nie.

We are very sorry you did not have a good night's sleep. A pity you did not phone us to advise that our neighbour's dog was barking, as we would have called them to take the dog inside. You must be a very light sleeper, as the rest of us at the BnB slept through.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Acorn B+B.

Acorn B+B in Durban has a great atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and we would not hesitate to stay at Acorn again.

A home away from home.

Comfortable. A home away from home. The host is exceptionally caring and pays such attention to detail. I have always stayed at Acorn B&B when in Durban. Good location. Excellent service.

Comfortable rooms.

The place has beautiful rooms and is very comfortable. They didn't make the beds.

Hi Kungeka. We're not sure what the reason for this oversight was, and we apologise if our staff did not make your bed on the Sunday you were staying with us. It's a pity this was not brought to our attention at the time as we could have immediately rectified the problem.

Bedding not changed in 9 days, aircon not working in all rooms. Fridge not working, no breakfast available as promised. Rooms not even serviced or cleaned in 9 days.

I was totally disappointed, would never recommend this place to no one, in actual fact I should be given a refund in compensation for the let down.

Heerlik rustige ontvlugting naby genoeg aan die lughawe.

Dit is 'n oase wat duidelik bekend is was vir buitelandse besoekers, met 'n sensitiewe gasheer, Tom, wat mense laat tuis voel. Ons is dankbaar vir GPS, anders sou ons dalk gesukkel het met die ligging. Acorn staan uit in die omgewing en ons sou lekker vir langer daar kon bly.

Since we were a group we made our own fun!

The owner of the accommodation wasn’t really nice to us honestly speaking. He talked about us threatening him and telling us he will get the police to take us out. I would have appreciated it if he was talking to us with a proper manner. Me and my will never set our foot again there. We couldn’t even ask him to stay inside for little minutes waiting for our transport, he really wanted us out on the check out date. So we waited for an hour outside premises waiting for transport with our luggage like we were thrown out.

The bed was not made on checking in and that was late around 4 in the afternoon and the basin was not washed after a bath. The owners are staying there with you, there is no privacy.

I did not like the place, it was filthy and not worth it.

Unfortunately you are correct the room was not up to our usual standard when you check in as I still had to make the bed, after tiding the room.
As we were fully booked I could not offer another room at the time, I am offering you both A FREE nights stay at a convenient time for you and us.
You maybe dont know but a B&B has to have an owner on the premises .
I dont understand how you can say you lost your privacy as you were on the 1st floor and I`m on the ground floor. I don`t remember seeing or going upstairs to disturb you.
Once again We ALL at Acorn B&B in Durban apologies for the unfortunate experience

Sincere and hospitable people. The morning's "smiley breakfasts" made you feel at home. Close to restaurants and shopping malls. Will definitely stay there again!
