Fantasties.

Baie dankie De Leeuwenhof Estate was vir ons 'n fees! En hulle het ons verblyf gratis opgegradeer, waarvoor ons baie dankbaar was!

Gesellig.

Ons het die twee woonstelle langsmekaar bespreek en dit was lekker privaat van ander gaste op die perseel. Vriendelike ontvangs, netjies, skoon en sal vir enige persoon aanbeveel.

10/10 for a one night stay.

Daan is a lovely host, a people's person indeed. The place has so much more on offer than advertised. A bit of farm life with the most beautiful views of the Du Toitskloof Mountains and vineyards. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Dear Che,

Thank you for your positive note. It was a pleasure having you at our family-driven hotel/guest house.

We offer special rates in the winter time and we make sure guests can enjoy the fireplace in the restaurant and breakfast area.

Our staff is already 14 years with us and we feel they, with all their heart, try to make guests feel at home by providing the extra "kick" with their friendly and personalized service delivery.

Thank you for taking time to write a review.
We are glad you value our security on which we take great pride of providing it to our guests to the max. Guests in general should not notice security efforts as they might find it disturbing, especially guests from overseas.
Furthermore we like the fact that you like our customer service. We run a family driven Guest house and we treat each guest as a friend for as long as they let us, but we keep distance when it is necessary.
Regarding the Kyknet channel, we are very sorry. We offer a hotel package from DStv with most movie channels and news and sport and we will look into having kyknet as well as future offering. We look forward in having you again and we will our best to offer you even better service to get a higher rating from you in the future.

A bit disappointing.

For R2000 a night to hire a cottage we expected something a little less rustic. It had no welcoming touches whatsoever - we had to ask for the complimentary tea and coffee to be refreshed, there were no tissues in the room, there was no soap dish in the bathroom, no mosquito repellent (but there were plenty of mosquitoes!), the floors were dirty/dusty and the blankets were musty. It was as though the cottages were a neglected part of De Leeuwenhof's general offering. It's a pretty place and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps the individual rooms are a better bet, but on the basis of our experience, I cannot recommend hiring one of the cottages.

Dear Dave,

Thank you for taking the trouble of writing your review. We understand your issues and i personally dealt with them when you were with us. We supplied you with all the mentioned items and we even changed the tea-backs as you thought they were old. There was soapies supplied in small bottles as well as body lotion in the bathroom but some guests use much more than others and you ran out on your daily supply, we even gave you extra on demand. Mosquito repellent unfortunately is not present in our offered bathroom dish as mosquitoes are very seldom seen in our envirioment, but we will look into this. On your stay we encountered heavy winds and when the doors are open, dusty might have come in. We do run a daily cleaning service of our rooms and cottages and upon arrival of new guests, we have a full check-up.We are sorry you had to encounter the dust issue and we will look into it as well. We certainly do not neglect any part of our offering as we value our guests and we work towards a happy return.
When you come again, we will our very best to make your stay a memorable one into the positive.

Amazing! A must stay!

Die personeel en eienaars gaan uit hulle pad om verblyf so aangenaam moontlik te maak. Dis 'n moet indien jy in die Paarl oorbly!
