Pleasant, tranquil. We were upgraded from the two-sleeper tents to the 6-sleeper tent for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities and the setup of the glamping tents. We walked one of the beautiful and peaceful trails, which is a nice addition to a camping site. The tents are well spaced out, not too close to each other, so privacy is guaranteed. The tents are very quaintly equipped with everything you might need in the bush. We did not make much use of the shop; we bought wood, which was reasonably priced; however, they sell Soy milk for R100/litre (around 3x the price in a supermarket), which was a bit disappointing to see as a vegan. Dare I say, at least they stock dairy alternatives. Other than that, we regretted not booking an extra night's stay. I would highly recommend this place to others.

The teepee isn't glamping. The photos on the site are misleading. Let's start with the good stuff: 1. Easy to find using a GPS, and the host sent directions. 2. Trienke was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store our frozen foods in the freezer at the restaurant. 3. The pool area is pretty and offers a cool place to sit when it's too hot at the campsite. 4. Tea-making facilities at the restaurant. 5. Although we didn't make use of the restaurant, it's super convenient, I'm sure, considering how remote the campsite is. 6. The little fridge in the teepee is nice and cold. 7. Nyala visited us every day. 8. The bird life was amazing. 9. Close to Lake St Lucia through the False Bay Game Reserve. 10. Close to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. The not-so-good stuff: 1. There was no water point at the campsite. That means we had to trek to the ablution facilities for every drop. This was very inconvenient. Preparing food, rinsing crockery, washing hands during food prep, these simple tasks require water. This was most irritating, seeing as the campsite is marketed as a glamping site. On this note, as I understand it, glamping means each accommodation has its own on-site bathroom. This was not the case with the teepee we stayed in. 2. Trienke assured us we would have Wi-Fi at our teepee. There was no Wi-Fi. To connect, we had to sit near the reception area. On this note, I wanted to sit on the patio with my laptop to catch up on work, but there was no power outlet. If I wanted electricity and Wi-Fi, I had to sit in the office. That was quite disappointing and took away from the 'working while on a road trip' vibe. 3. The site has pictures of picnics next to a dam or river, and other waterside shots. This is misleading, as the campsite offers nothing of the sort. 4. The towels are tiny and threadbare - it's definitely time to replace them.

Great adventure stay! Best showers ever. A hidden gem in Hluhluwe. The shower was amazing, the tent was clean and was well equipped for self-catering. Even the Nyala's joined in for the fun while relaxing around the camp.

Het baie lekker gerus en die natuur geniet. Baie gerieflik en netjies. Hulle kan wel 'n groter waaier insit vir meer sirkulasie. Veilige parkering en buite afdak + punt. Swembad baie lekker vir die somerhitte.

Heerlike verblyf in die natuur. Ons het dit baie geniet by Tipi tent 4. Alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was beskikbaar. Lekker in die natuur. Ons het tot vroeë aand 'n hiëna gehoor roep. Tent was netjies.

Quiet & blissful. It was good. Quiet and with the company of many birds and plenty of Nyala, the breakaway was worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Great reboot for the mind. The tent is on a farm with a great atmosphere to relax and break away from the busy city life. To calm the soul and reconnect with nature. This is the place to stay to do all that.
