Sufficient and clean, yard area and braai area nice but needs some attention.

A short stopover only, for one night and left early morning. Did not spend time as we were in transit.

Enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kei Mouth Guest Lodge. Julie-Ann is a fantastic hostess and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The domestic staff were also very friendly and never got in our way. The braai area was very pleasant. Even though it rained a lot, we could still enjoy a braai! Don't forget your mozzie repellent!

It was fine.

The cleaners came in way before check out time. They made a loud noise by chatting, laughing, and cleaning. There were unfortunately spiders at the bottom of the bed. But the landlords are awesome.

Thank you for bringing the happy, chatting cleaning ladies to my attention.
The Cleaning ladies normally come in at 09:00 on Sunday and check out is at 10:00.
There were also other guests in the house who stayed over that also left on Sunday morning.
I would like to assure you that our rooms are serviced and aired every day.

Website advertised bed and breakfast. Got there to find breakfast not included. Eaten up by mosquitoes.

Information had been pulled through the booking system incorrectly, but this guest had in fact only booked and paid for a room only. We have corrected the incorrect line that they referred to.
We offered these guests a complimentary full breakfast, in leu of the error, on the first morning, and they declined breakfast on the second morning.
We regularly spray the rooms for mosquitoes, and fans are provided that do help. This is a sub-tropical coastal area, and mosquitoes and other insects live here too.
We recommend that people bring and use insect repellant to keep the bugs at bay.

Gerieflik vir kort verblyf.

Die advertensie was nie duidelik dat die kamer deel is van 'n groot huis waarvan die leefruimte gedeel word nie. Ek was toevallig die enigste gas, maar dit sou onaangenaam wees met vreemde mense in die ander kamers. Indien 'n groep die hele huis bespreek, sal dit egter 'n baie lekker vakansiehuis kan wees wat baie goed toegerus is.

We are listed as a Bed & Breakfast Guest House.
We are so sorry that you do not understand what this means when one book a room only at a bed & breakfast. (The Stone, Garden & Coral Room in the main house)
We do have The Loft which is a separate 2 bedroom self-catering flat that can be booked to ensure that one has one's own private kitchenette, large sitting room, and deck.

Idaal vir ons naweek gewees. Uitmuntende diens en uitstekende gasvrou en gasvryheid.

Die gastehuis was bo ons verwagtinge. Die bestuur se hulp en gasvryheid het ons verras. Sal hul ter enige tyd aanbeveel.

Kei Mouth Guest Lodge is perfectly located and well equipped for self-catering.

We rented out all the rooms and therefore had the entire house to ourselves, which was perfect for us as a large group of friends. The central location is perfect for getting around as most places in town are within walking distance. The kitchen and braai area was well equipped and made self-catering a pleasant experience. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, being cleaned every day, which was a major plus. Julie-Anne was very friendly and welcoming and ensured that we were taken care of. We highly recommend Kei Mouth Guest Lodge to any friends or family looking for accommodation in the area.

We are listed as a bed & breakfast and we welcome the guest to make use of the communal kitchen and braai area. Our living room has a 10 seater dining table and is communal where a light breakfast is served.

Very relaxing and pleasant.
