Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. Beautiful walks, the waterfall is so majestic. My boys swam in the dam, did bike rides in the forest, and stargazed at night. Really connected with nature. Will definitely visit again.

A very spontaneous decision, we booked on the day and much to our amazement we were the only guests, so needless to say we were thrilled and enjoyed every moment of the far-too-short stay.

An awesome camping weekend. No frills and rustic but with very clean, functioning ablutions with unbelievably hot water, provided by a fire donkey! Exactly the type of camping experience we enjoy. Close to the mountain to do a hike or cycle along the lower to upper slopes. The scenery is stunning as well as the fynbos and forested area. Great getaway. Very well priced.

Best off grid tranquil camp site ever.

This is a tranquil, mellow space with time to spend connecting with each other. Lovely hikes and runs and swims in the dam. The bathrooms are the best I've ever seen camping even when the campsite was busy. We were secluded and never felt crowded. Meghan was attentive and responsive. A well run, beautiful, off grid camping experience.

A wonderful, peaceful, revitalizing stay!

Meghan and Jonothan went out of their way to ensure we have everything we need. Most beautiful views! Open spaces, lovely dam to swim in and awesome cycling and hiking routes. Will definitely return!

Die plek is baie skoon en rustig. Ek en my vrou het ons naweek geniet. Dit was regtig hemel op aarde. Ek sal regtig weer teruggaan.

Baie rustig. Hoef niks te doen as jy nie wil nie.

Hou van die basiese geriewe. Miskien is sommige van die hekke te basies.

Rustig en heerlik.

Lekker groot kampplekke. Glad nie oorvol nie en netjies. Sal weer gaan.

Rustig met mooi uitsig.

Ons het ons 12 jaar huweliksherdenking gevier, 1ste keer op 'n kamp, die uitsig van die natuur het net rustig en romanties gemaak. Ons het champagne-ontbyt gehad by die rivier, ons kon heerlik gesels en die mooi tuine beskou terwyl ons wag vir warm water om te stort. Die asemrowende uitsig terwyl ons stort het dit nog meer spesiaal gemaak. Dit was 'n wonderlike breek van die besige stad lewe, weg van die verkeer en bedrywighede.

Pure serenity.

My partner and I spent a blissful 2 nights at the Kromrivier campsite. We left feeling invigorated, calm and ready for the city again. Shaded campsites, sweeping mountain views, a lovely dam to cool off in, friendly cows that come munch around the tent, peace and quiet. The outdoor showers are awesome! We took a walk on the 4x4 trail, and explored Betties Bos, all the way up to the cliffs (some bundu-bashing), which was magical in the forest. Things we forgot to bring: your own braai grid and tongs, firelighters (wood is provided), toiletpaper. Great to bring: hammock, books, binoculars (eagles).

What a wonderful and peaceful place.

We loved the cows grazing, the views and the people around us.

Rustic campsite but it was absolutely perfect for a night's get away.

We were fortunate to overnight when the campsite was pretty much unoccupied - not a soul in sight from our camping spot. The dam offered a refreshing swim and the connection with nature was real. Open fields, trees, the distant rumblings of the river and the unobstructed night sky! Loved it!

We are new to the camping experience but were pleasantly surprised at this farm stay.

Was a last minute booking but from the start was an excellent experience. The farm is amazing. And at that rate, will definitely be back for a longer stay soon.

Lovely campsites and very good facilities in a beautiful environment.

We had a wonderful stay - the campsites are nicely set apart from each other and are well maintained, all with good grass which is so much nicer that the dust experienced in most other camps. Lots of space for kids to play. Beautiful and quiet natural environment. Decent ablution facilities; the mushroom garden was an added bonus for small kids to explore.

Even though it was raining, the view and surrounding area were absolutely breathtaking. Would definitely be going again.

The surrounding mountains made for a serene and wonderful weekend getaway. Friendly service from staff and the owners. We absolutely enjoyed our time there! Will definitely be coming again!

Die stilte daar is verdowend. Groen, pragtig en amazing.

Kamp teen die berg. Die staproetes is baie mooi. Stook die donkie vir warm water, stort onder die bome in die buitelug en maak ontbyt in die vuurput.

Net wat ek nodig gehad het.

Dit was die perfekte gesinswegbreek naweek. Dit het gevoel asof ons in die paradys was. Die natuurskoon was asemrowend, met die voëls wat bedags sing en die naggeluide snags het 'n wonderlike plaasatmosfeer geskep.

Ontspannend.

Wonderlike plek. Ons het heerlik ontspan en het baie vriendelike diens ontvang. Daar is 'n ruig groentetuin en 'n heerlike dam om in te swem. Die storte kan dalk bietjie veiliger wees en kan met 'n opknap doen.

Very friendly and accommodating. Had such a relaxed and easy-going camping experience.

The only problem I might foresee for other potential campers is if they have a fear of spiders. There are obviously spiders in the veld and around the campsite. If you have arachnophobia, you might not have the best camping experience possible.
