Amazing.

Awesome! Waking up to the sounds of birds and waves breaking from a distance was my favorite. Very peaceful and safe. Had the pool to ourselves for the entire weekend! Had so much fun. Will definitely go back with my children. They love horses, and the wild horses around there will make their day every day!

What a spot!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The setting is just perfect. Most incredible scenery and especially the sunsets, they will not be forgotten. We had the most relaxing time. Lori was a fantastic host. Really recommend Seas the Sun.

Lekker naby aan die Estuary, kan met laagwater deurstap na die ander eiland, maar hou jou handdoek hoog en brille hoog. Baie perde gesien.

Ons gasvrou was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam en het gereeld kontak gemaak om uit te vind of alles reg is. Dis heerlik om op die stoep te sit en ontspan en die voëltjies kuier gereeld. Die huis is gemaklik en die kombuis is goed toegerus. Ons het baie lekker gekuier.

The cottage is beautiful and comfortable with very nice views.

A very cosy and comfortable cottage. The host is wonderful and close proximity to the sea. Very good for children, horses and ducks.

Alles is skoon en netjies. Kombuis het alles wat nodig is en die ligging is goed vir strand, asook swembad.

Ons het ons verblyf vreeslik baie geniet. Die huis het alles wat jy nodig het en meer.

Seas the Sun is definitief waarde vir geld. Het sommer van die intrapslag welkom gevoel en het gevoel soos ons huis weg van die huis af. Baie stil en rustig. Ons het die voëltjies vreeslik geniet wat vroegoggend al kom môre sê het en die kinders het dit geniet om hulle te voer. Werklik 'n heerlike plek naby alles. Baie dankie Lori vir die ekstra moeite om ons welkom te laat voel.

Very relaxing and plenty of the surrounding environment to enjoy.

We loved walks and the beach, bird life, kayaking and slow evenings. We had it in abundance at Seas the Sun. We will definitely be back. A two-night weekend was too short.

A lovely getaway.

We had a wonderful time. The space was neat and adequate. It was our first holiday with our 3 month old baby. We had no regrets. Everything we needed was there, a lovely space, nice pool, secluded and tranquil. We definitely coming back.

Wi-Fi signal a serious problem.

Little to no Wi-Fi signal which was a very big problem.

Die verblyf is in n goeie ligging geleë. Atmosfeer baie lekker en rustig. Kon die see sien van die stoep af en daar is baie voëls wat ons gevoer het. Sal dit enige tyd aanbeveel.

We had a great time.

The house is is cosy and has everything you need. It is safe and the location is great. My 5 year old twin girls enjoyed feeding the birds and going to the play area. The beach and lagoon is in walking distance. We really want to go back. Thank you, Lori.

A restful stay in a comfortable chalet in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Our stay at Seas the Sun exceeded our expectations. Located near the mouth of the Bot River estuary on the eastern side, the chalet is in a secure, well-maintained estate. We spent a long weekend there with our daughter and son-in-law. The chalet had everything we needed, with two bathrooms, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, two lounges and a covered patio with a built-in braai and shelter from the southeasterly wind. The garden was full of birds that we fed with the supplied birdseed and very small pieces of cheese! Favourites included a very tame fiscal flycatcher, an olive thrush, two Cape robin-chats and a family of Cape spurfowl (francolins). The clear water of the estuary was a five-minute walk away, as was the beach. Although the beach is not suitable for swimming, Onrus Beach is just a 15-minute drive away. We arranged through Lori, the owner, to hire the two waveskis that are kept at the chalet, and members of the group enjoyed paddling on the estuary. Each evening we walked down to the estuary to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. We would unreservedly recommend Seas the Sun for people wanting a restful getaway in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Peace and tranquility and family friendly.

Lori, welcomed us after our booking was cancelled by another place. She really went out of her way to accommodate us at a really bad time. The place is on a lagoon and the sound of the ocean was so peaceful. The accommodation itself was more than I expected it was just the right size for a family with young children.

My kids had such a good time! Awesome!

The property has all you could need to have a relaxing time with your family. My boys loved it!

Relaxing environment.

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Seeing the ocean and hearing the waves was so relaxing. Our kids enjoyed the beaches and activities.

Wonderful place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing. Nature on the door step.

Lori was always assisting and communicating to ensure all is in place. The accommodation was very clean and even bird seed provided for all the birds that were so tamed that they came within meters of us relaxing on the porch.

The cottage is well equipped and ideally located. (Especially for bird watchers.) Lori, the owner and Jenny, the caretaker were very friendly and provided us with everything we needed, even bird seed to feed the birds.

Ontspanning in pragtige omgewing.

Die eienaar het uit haar pad gegaan om alles te reël en was great! Die Chalet het alle geriewe wat mens nodig het en ons het die omgewing en natuurskoon baie geniet. Ons sal beslis weer gaan kuier by die chalet.

Wonderful - like home away from home!

Beautiful place with everything you may need. Extra blankets and towels even heaters and electric blankets for the winter chill! Safe area. Close to the beach. Private braai and wi-fi. Sleep with the sound of the waves in you ears. You will not regret it!

We found the hidden jewel.

What a wonderful and peaceful weekend staying in this lovely chalet. Everything in place and nothing to add. Very professional updates, follow ups from the owner and making sure her guests are safe and happy.
