Sky Island Resort is the world’s first paragliding resort and is situated in Ponta Malongane, approximately 20 km away from the Kosi Bay Border, and offers peaceful and unique accommodation. It is ideal for friends and family who are looking for a relaxing getaway to this coastal town where they can explore and enjoy all of the surrounding amenities.
Guests can choose between the self-catering Meadow Chalets, Food Forest Safari Tents, Super Deluxe Camps and Sea View Tents. All of the units feature a private entrance, comfortable beds, quality linen and bath towels, a fridge, a fan, tea- and coffee-making facilities, braai facilities, room service and breakfast.
The lodge boasts a restaurant and bar, a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi is communal spaces and a launch site for those who are interested in the Paragliding experience. Parking is available on the premises. Local shops and restaurants are within close proximity, as well as easy access to the beach. Ponta do Ouro is approximately 5.4 km away. In the area, guests can enjoy activities like swimming, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, swimming with dolphins, nature walks and bird watching. Please be advised that guests will need a 4x4 vehicle to gain access to the property due to the sandy roads.
