The Rainbow House

Excellent.

Our stay was very relaxing, just what we needed.

Relaxing stay in nature.

We stayed for two nights at The Rainbow House and had a very nice experience. Beautifully located in nature, the house is charming, and the alarm makes you feel safe leaving your valuables inside. Just be aware that you need to turn on the geyser when you arrive because we all had to shower cold the first morning as it was not mentioned to us.

A home away from home!

The Rainbow House was a peaceful getaway from the city buzz. It had everything we needed, clean and safe. The host was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Fantasies.

Dit was amazing, ons het alles geniet, die cabin definitely weer op ons lys, asook die diens van die cabin se eienaar. Ons waardeer dit regtig. Baie dankie weereens.

Kon baie lekkerder gekuier het as die eienaar aandag gee aan netheid en die plek beter instand hou.

Rainbow House is baie goed geleë. Die braai-area is heerlik gesellig en baie beskut. Die beddens slaap lekker. Daar moet aandag gegee word aan die netheid en instandhouding. By die boonste slaaparea moet daar deur die een slaapkamer gestap word om by die badkamer uit te kom. Waar die alarm geaktiveer moet word is by die deur reg langs die toilet in die onderste badkamer.

Rustig.

Kort 'n braaibak, vadoeke en glase, spesifiek wynglase.

Our stay was peaceful and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle.

The accommodation was great, everything was clean and cosy, the steps upstairs is a bit steep but you have a bedroom and bathroom downstairs no need for kids to be running up and down. Spa bath on the balcony is an added bonus if you want to just soak up the tranquility around you. The pool at the clubhouse is also great and only about 3 minutes walk. The people are friendly and helpful always smiling. Our stay was amazing and its not too far from Cape Town making travelling time less. We will definitely refer it to our friends and family and will be back, the break was too short. Thank you Candace and the team.

Baie lekker gebly, kort net 'n braaibak en dit was golden!

A lovely getaway in nature. Quiet and relaxing.

We were a party of 5 adults and found it suited our needs. Lovely and serene with a wonderful boma area. The house was fully equipped with 2 bathrooms and a wonderful spa bath on the balcony. Meerenbosch is a lovely estate with a pool, tennis courts and a little cafe that stocked wood and ice. The owner was very responsive to any queries. Our weekend stay was too short and we didn't get time to kayak, but the house has its own pathway to the lagoon, which revealed beautiful views.

I enjoyed my stay.

Love the braai area and the view of the sea. The only thing is, the drains were blocked. When washing dishes all the dirty water comes up in the shower tub. The stairs is not suitable for elderly. The bottom toilet had a bad smell. Other then all my complaints we made the best of it.

It was a great venue, just experienced bad weather.

The entrance and exit requirements are a hassle needing pins. If you don't have especially when there are 2 cars - you are stranded.

Rustig, pragtige uitsig maar trappe was scary.

Sou lekker gewees het om op die meer te gaan maar was nie seker of ons kon nie.

Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.

The house was fully equipped with everything possibly needed. So peaceful and relaxing. Definitely worth it. Even though it rained it was nice to just spend quality time with my family in the house.

Amazing will definitely go again and stay longer.

We had a great time, the kids loved the pool so much. And it's very nice, relaxing, peaceful and safe. No stress at all.

Lovely for young people who can climb stairs.

Cute and cozy. No view from the stoep but close enough to walk to the lagoon and beach. Small oven.

Beautiful and peaceful stay.

The Rainbow House is an ideal getaway from the city life. The location is beautiful and the environment is the most peaceful. The best to relax and enjoy with your family. The host was great and friendly. We enjoyed kayaking too. It was a wonderful experience.

Enigste iets, dit het gereën. Toe was daar geen sambreel of afdak om te braai nie.

Pragtig.

Pragtige plek, reg langs mond, geen tekortkominge (Afgesien van 'n groente-skillertjie en braaibak wat nie deal breakers is), sal definitief weer bespreek.

It's was really amazing.

It was close to the beach and close to the lagoon. Everything we needed was there, and it was a great getaway with friends.

Baie geniet, veral die rustigheid.

Met die huis en ligging kan jy nie kla nie, jy voel deel van die natuur met al die pragtige bome en die voëltjies wat om jou sing. Sou net verkies dat daar 'n binnebraai moet wees, veral vir koue aande.

Magies.

'n Wonderlike plekkie met als wat jy nodig om net heerlik te ontspan.
