Relaxing, excellent breakfast and dinner on request. Really enjoyed this off-the-grid experience. Janette is a fabulous cook. We had the best breakfast and dinner on her stoep, while drinking in the Karoo landscape. If you need deep rest, this is the place for you.

Oornag verblyf. Baie hartelik ontvang deur Jeanette by aankoms en sy het ons tuis laat voel. Aandete was wat ons versoek het en dit was saam met ontbyt die hoogtepunt van ons verblyf. Het die rustigheid van die "Off Grid" aand daar waardeer. Sal enige tyd weer teruggaan.

What an experience, but in a very good way. This place is completely off the grid and quirky with it. If your looking for accommodation with a difference this is the place. Remember, off the grid in this case means "off the grid. " Bear in mind that there are no cooking facilities or fridge, bring your own ice if you want a cool sundowner. The view from the verandah is unbelievable and indescribable. The breakfast supplied by the hostess, who, by the way, was extremely pleasant and outgoing, was outstanding. So if you're looking for something different and quirky I would heartily recommend Aloe-Aloe Guest Farm.

Rustig. Daar kan een kragprop in huisie wees, geen krag nie. Toegangbaarheid met voertuig na huisie is onbegaanbaar. Stort en krane spuit buite die emmers en skottel, oulike idee maar werk net nie 100% nie.

Hello Erika I'm sorry your stay was not all you expected, looking at your comments i think perhaps you simply chose the wrong unit. If you had spoken to me about your problems - my phone is on 24/7 - i could have moved you to our self catering cottage. For the same price as your cabin (but not including breakfast - which you did not need anyway) you would have had an indoor bathroom with walk-in shower, full kitchen, dining area, lounge with DSTV, access to wifi, full mains electricity, fridge, gas stove, fire place, pizza oven, and best of all, undercover parking right next to the cottage for your bike! We do not normally allow vehicle access to the cabins, hence the poor quality of access route, i simply didn't want you to get soaking wet on such a rainy day. Hope the rest of your stay in Ladismith was more enjoyable. Regards Jeanette

Ons het in die vierslaapplek-huisie gebly. Pragtig, interessant en als wat ons vir een aand nodig gehad het. Eienaar was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam.

Warm gasvryheid en heerlike kos. Die eienaar, Jeanette, is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Niks is vir haar te veel moeite nie. Sy doen moeite met haar etes en die kos is nie net heerlik nie maar ook baie mooi bedien. Die huisies is kreatief ingerig met aandag aan detail. Ons sal beslis teruggaan.
