Nice unit, but overpriced estate. I assumed the ground floor unit would be best, but it turns out the hotel ground floor is level 5. If I ever go to Zimbali Suites again, I would book level 5 or 6 for the sea views as this unit did not have a sea view. Security at the estate is a mission and over the top. You can't leave and come back without what felt like hours' worth of admin. The Spar is far from the suites and there is no internal transport, and getting an Uber through security would entail the above-mentioned admin. Movement in the estate is limited - I assume most permanent residents have a golf cart. Food and drink at the hotel and surrounding areas are very expensive. The pool is not that special. All in all, the place feels overhyped.

Clean, decorated, friendly. The place was central to everything. The staff were friendly. The housekeeping staff respected our items. We travelled with a toddler who also enjoyed the space. It was amazing and gave us a wonderful family experience. Our agent was also a text away and supported us throughout - from check-in to check-out.
