Good morning, This is a multi-unit property offering private, self-catering accommodation. Each unit is fully separated, and the guest’s unit is not shared with any other occupants. Each unit has its own parking space directly in front of the unit. In addition, the unit the guest booked has access to a private garage. If more than one vehicle is present, the garage can be opened to allow access to an additional parking space in the backyard. The parking area shown in the guest’s photo does not relate to and is not connected with the unit she was renting. The unit is cleaned thoroughly before every guest’s arrival, and it passed our standard pre-check. That said, if the ground-floor toilet was not to standard or there was an unpleasant odour, we sincerely apologise, as this is not the level of cleanliness we aim to provide. Regarding the backyard and swimming pool: the swimming pool is currently under restoration and not in usable condition, which is why it is not advertised as an amenity and is not available for guest use. The grass, however, due to heavy rain and a recent storm over the past few days, we were unable to trim it at the scheduled time, but the grass wasn't overgrown. With regard to the wires shown in the photo, these are not live wires and are not connected to a power source. They are non-functional and should have already been removed. As a precautionary measure, they are being fully removed today. With regards to the gas geyser, the bottle was in the process of being changed at the time of the guest’s stay. We monitor this regularly, and a replacement bottle is always available. The guest could have contacted us immediately, and we would have resolved this without delay. We would also like to note that at no point during the stay did the guest raise any of these concerns with us. In fact, we made contact with the guest during the stay (including following up due to a known issue of flies in the area as a result of recent weather), and we were informed that everything was fine. Each guest receives a WhatsApp message or call upon check-in confirming that WhatsApp is our main communication channel and that they may contact us at any time should any issue arise. Had any concerns been communicated, they would have been addressed promptly. We trust the above addresses your concerns.
