8 Olives Cottage is situated on the working farm Kleinfontein, just outside Cradock in the Eastern Cape. This spacious self-catering home offers a peaceful countryside retreat with a variety of outdoor activities, ideal for families wanting to enjoy time together in nature.
The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with an extra-length king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains a king-size bed and an extra-length three-quarter bed. The third bedroom has a king-size bed. A sleeper couch is also available for additional guests. Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower, a bath, a toilet and a basin.
With prior arrangement, all king-size beds can be converted into 2 three-quarter beds each, making the layout more suitable for children or friends sharing.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. The open-plan living area offers a dining table, comfortable seating, and an indoor braai.
Activities on the farm include mountain biking trails, hiking routes, nature braais, breathtaking sunsets, and hunting opportunities. Hunting is ideal for first-time hunters and must be arranged in advance at an additional cost.
