Description

Aardts Gaste Plaas (Nagvalkajuit) is a charming and rustic secluded stone cottage located 14 km from De Rust. The cottage offers a romantic getaway or an unforgettable family retreat for those who appreciate the true beauty of the Karoo, with its unspoiled landscapes, breathtaking sunsets, and magical starry skies.

The open-plan cottage is furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed. The outdoor bathroom is equipped with an open-air shower, a basin, and a toilet.

The kitchenette is equipped with a stove, a fridge, cutlery, and crockery. Leading from the bedroom is a covered patio with a cosy fireplace, as well as an outdoor braai.

The cottage also features a wood-fired hot tub where guests can relax and unwind at their own pace.

This modern cottage has been built into the southern side of the mountain for several reasons. It is a natural method of maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the seasons, both day and night. There is also a dam on the roof of the cottage to help keep the sleeping area cool.
