Just what we needed. My husband and 13-year-old son stayed here 6-8 March 2026. It was exactly what we needed. My son was participating in the SA Open Water Championship 2026. Bernhard was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The unit was well equipped and very clean. The highlights of their stay: 1. The spectacular views. 2. The friendly house cat. 3. The kayak that my son could simply not get enough of. We will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of my family.

Wonderful. The stay at Abaco was fantastic, with amazing scenery on the water and a great host. It was very safe, and the facilities are very convenient. A must stop when travelling to J Bay.

Quiet, safe, family friendly. Barnard was an excellent host! We really enjoyed our time! It was very nice and peaceful! Everything was very clean and tidy. Everything was decorated so beautifully for the festive season, making us feel really at home.
