Fun, friendly staff, quality family time. We enjoyed the location, the funky bar area was nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was a bonus, and we never expected the tents to have WiFi, so the WiFi was a bonus.

For nature lovers. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend a few more activities to do at Karoo1 though. Also, maybe have an option where you can order food and have it delivered. A menu with a bigger variety for lunch would be appropriate. A lot of things the kitchen also ran out of certain options on the menu.

Best experience of my life, I don't do camping but love the glamping part of it. It was an awesome experience, wish we had more time there but will definitely come back. The place has a very relaxing atmosphere and a nice drive from Cape Town.

It was average, not worth the daily fee. The fridge in the camp is only a bar fridge, so you can't stay longer than 2 days, and I would not recommend longer. The bike paths aren't clearly marked. The quad bike for me and the kids would have cost a lot. The shop is also super expensive.

Wonderful stay. We absolutely loved our stay at this Africamps. The rock pool is incredible! We were missing a braai grid and some initial issues with the light switches, but the team were there in a flash to sort us out. The tents have your basic necessities and ours even had a coffee plunger. It is a stunning location, and the stars were wonderful. We stayed here for a day trip to Aquila - it's only a 15-minute drive. The only thing I'd recommend to Africamps is to change their wood supplier: the wood was very wet and we had to go to Touwsriver the next day to get different wood. Engen stocks good, dry wood if you need it! We wished we'd booked another night; two wasn't enough. Hope to be back soon!
