Nature and peace at its best. Our stay at AfriCamps Milorho was nothing short of truly relaxing. It offered the perfect blend of luxury and nature, with the most breathtaking views all around us. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the camp manager, which immediately made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was unwinding in the hot tub on the verandah in the late afternoon, soaking in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the peaceful, romantic atmosphere. We also explored the 4.7 km hiking trail, which led us through stunning natural scenery, including rock pools and small waterfalls — an absolute treat for nature lovers. Although we only stayed for two nights, we wished we could have stayed much longer. AfriCamps Milorho is truly the perfect destination to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back!

As per above. We were looking so forward to coming to Africamps. I'm from the hotel industry, and I'm very aware of service and making one's experience memorable. We arrived, there were fans from one of the farms blowing up until about 10pm on Friday evening - we came for peace, and unfortunately, this is how it started. We then were advised of a no noise policy. There was a couple with friends and kids in Unit 3 - on Friday night they didn't stop the noise and music until we complained. It went on again on Saturday night. I then ordered a breakfast platter for R195 per person. On the Africamps website where you order the meals, it states any additional comments. I stated please substitute the pork with something else as I don't eat pork. The morning we got the food, there was pork. It said fresh fruit, but we didn't even get that. I made Lize aware of this; all I got was an apology. In my line of work, when one is in the wrong, they try to make it right. When the couple was there, there was never a mention of 'can I please bring the fruit' or 'can I make it right by bringing you something to replace the pork', nothing. On the site, it comes across as if it's baked, fresh, etc. Everything in that basket was shop bought and plucked in a basket. If I had known that, I would not have ordered it at all and would have just cooked with shop bought food. It's so sad as the messages beforehand showed how well organised the place is, and I was so excited. I was raving about it to my teams in the industry, etc., and came back let down, which is sad. When asked how I enjoyed it, my feedback to them unfortunately wasn't positive.
