AfriCamps at Kam'Bati is situated on a working ostrich farm just 10 km from Oudtshoorn in the heart of the Klein Karoo. Overlooking a large dam frequented by giraffe, kudu, and eland, this pet-friendly retreat offers a unique glamping experience surrounded by natural beauty.
Accommodation is offered in boutique Glamping Tents and Premium Tents, all thoughtfully designed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Guests can cool off in the communal swimming pool or enjoy a braai in the shared lapa while taking in the peaceful bushveld surroundings.
The Glamping Tents accommodate up to 5 guests and comprise 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with an extra-length queen-size bed, while one bedroom also includes a single bunk bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The open-plan living area features a lounge, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Additional amenities include air conditioning, an indoor fireplace, and private braai facilities. Selected Glamping Tents also feature a private wood-fired hot tub.
The Premium Tents are designed for 2 guests and offer an open-plan layout with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. The modern living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island, comfortable lounge seating, air conditioning, and an indoor fireplace. Glass doors open onto a spacious L-shaped deck with a net hammock, private braai facilities, and a wood-fired hot tub.
AfriCamps at Kam'Bati is the ideal base from which to explore Oudtshoorn and the surrounding Klein Karoo while enjoying a relaxing glamping getaway.
