We stayed comfortably for what we were needing for the night. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. It was lovely and private with a gorgeous view to make up for everything you may find wrong with the upkeep of the apartment. A lick of paint would make all the difference to the overall impression of the place, and a new outside bench and table is worth investing in as the present one is very rickety from age and lack of maintenance. To anyone desiring to stay, it is advisable to bring your own towels as they were not provided for. It caters for six, but there were only two coffee cups, so bring your own cups, coffee, tea, sugar and milk if there are more than two; otherwise, you can do relays as we did. If you are just looking for a quick stayover and not fussy about what is lacking, it was perfect. While the photos of the place are accurate, the photos do paint a better picture than the reality. However, as I say, the view of the gorge was breathtaking and made up for what was lacking in the house. I could not recommend the accommodation to anyone, but for those who are not fussy, I could.

Spectacular scenery with friendly staff. We had a lovely stay in the Protea room with no issues or complaints. Waking up to coffee and the foggy mountain view was definitely a highlight!

Not as pleasant as we expected. The interior has been built very cheaply and minimal effort has been put into the finishes. There were 9 guests next door who partied all night long and even made use of our private patio. It was not a pleasant stay and we will not be back.

Will never recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and for the price, the place wasn't taken care of. We had to wait 45 mins to get into the property and then search around on the property for my room key. The host did not answer any of my calls or messages; I had to tell the same story to five different people just to get into the property. I had a function that started at 4:30, I got to the property at 15:53 and only got into the property at 16:43, and I was late for my function. The windows were dusty and dirty, there were no curtains in the lounge and beer bottles just lying outside.

Cozy. The unit is lovely. A few suggestions would include a larger duvet for the bed, more crockery and cutlery for ease of cooking, and a door on the bathroom. The unit also smelt of cigarettes on arrival, which was slightly off-putting.
