Perfect stay. We had a truly wonderful stay at the cottage and couldn’t have asked for a better host. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Her excellent service and attention to detail made our visit comfortable and relaxing. She kindly shared useful information about the town, nearby attractions, and great restaurant recommendations, which really enhanced our experience. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful call after our departure to let us know we had forgotten a few items at the cottage — such a kind and caring gesture. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! Great location, walking distance from the river and river mouth. Well equipped, functional, very clean and safe. Dogs are allowed, which was such a bonus. Jo is an excellent host. Very friendly and hospitable. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice in terms of where to go, what to see and where to eat. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Tasteful, tranquil and well situated! We had a fabulous stay! Jo is a thoughtful host who provides the finer touches. The cottage is spacious, comfy, immaculate and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. Our little dog was welcome and we enjoyed our time there.

Relaxing with everything we needed for a break-away. A lovely open plan cottage with private entrance. Neat and clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Central with a short walk to the local shop and restaurant and to the river and beach. A lovely host who is a wealth of local info on where to have coffee, confectionery and dinner. Lovely, safe and homely stay. We had a great stay at Amarula Cottage! supplied us with a fantastic welcome pack that includes all the information required. met us in person and made us feel super welcome. A lovely surprise was that firelighters and charcoal were provided, and as the weather was really great, we sat outside braaiing. The cottage has everything you need, and more. We felt really safe and at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
