Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The location of Amia was excellent and the views of the ocean and the river mouth from the second floor of the house are breathtaking. The house was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the pool table in the lounge. Hot water was readily available. At times, there was a foul smell on the ground floor, which may have something to do with the plumbing, either in the garage or the nearby bathroom. Witsand was very windy for the 2 days of our stay - if you prefer staying indoors, or enjoy kite surfing, then this is not an issue, but as avid fishermen and nature lovers, the gale force wind can be a problem.
