Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review and thoughtful suggestions. We truly appreciate the feedback and will certainly be looking into a rainwater tank; it’s a great idea.
My apologies for the confusion regarding the servicing of the accommodation. It has now been updated to reflect that the house is serviced daily by arrangement and for a small additional fee, paid. As you can imagine, daily servicing requires staff to be compensated accordingly, and we aim to keep the nightly rate reasonable for group bookings. We therefore leave the decision up to our guests, should they wish to make use of Jerimiah’s additional in-house services and tip accordingly.
We absolutely love our shabby cottage holiday home in Clarens, and it brings us great joy knowing that guests get to experience their own little slice of heaven there. While the house isn’t perfect by any stretch, she has plenty of character and we may even miss her rickety charm once she undergoes her revamp in July!
