Very satisfactory. The stay was all we wanted, which was peace and quiet! It is a beautiful setting and a great view of the Langeberg Mountains. The cupboard fittings in the kitchen are tired and need some attention, and there were a few signs of maintenance required. But overall, it was a wonderful stay.

A comfortably happy place to recharge travel-weary batteries. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the rustic cottage, which proved perfect for our one-night 'en-route' stay. Quick access to the N2. Helpful basic stock in the kitchen, refreshing swimming pool, relaxing 'stoep' to unwind on, natural farm and country sounds, and a comfortable bed in a delightfully arranged cottage.

Lovely stay, nice braai facilities and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful stay, most beautiful place and breathtaking view of the mountains. So peaceful with a farm feel.

Surprisingly underwhelming and it felt as though I was an inconvenience. Owners do not follow their own rules regarding pets. They should include that they have a resident dog; it would have influenced my decision to book the accommodation because I know my dog is not well socialised with other pets. It would have spared both parties a traumatising event. Even if I was in the wrong (my dog was leashed, I had previously communicated that she does not like their dog and their dog was roaming freely), I would have expected the owners to check up on me after the dogs fought. I was also disappointed that it was not communicated that they had issues with the warm water, nor was it communicated once it was repaired. Overall, lack of communication and it does not feel as though the owners want to create a space for guests. The staff is absolutely lovely and I do not expect any of the comments to have been addressed by the ground staff. The owner should put up a disclaimer about their free-roaming pet, or 'pey by arrangement' should include only well socialised dogs, or the owner should have provided a free space for myself and my dog by keeping their dog indoors, seeing that I was only going to be there for 2 nights. I think that is a small and fair sacrifice.

Cozy, warm and welcoming place to stay overnight. We arrived in the dark and were welcomed. Our host was very friendly and showed us around. We slept well and unfortunately had to continue on our way to Cape Town early in the morning.
