Valley Lodge – Babanango Game Reserve is a nature lover’s dream, nestled in the heart of a lush valley surrounded by rich fauna and flora. The lodge overlooks the picturesque Nsubeni River Valley, framed by sparkling granite hills, sandstone cliffs, and quartzite mountains, with the White Umfolozi River flowing in the background.
The lodge offers 4 Luxury Suites, 2 Family Rooms, 2 Deluxe Rooms, and 1 Honeymoon Suite, which is set slightly apart from the rest, providing added privacy. Each luxurious suite features air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a safe, Wi-Fi, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and breathtaking views over the reserve. Hill Top House is our free-standing, luxurious 3-bedroom family lodge designed to accommodate up to 6 guests (minimum 4 people) in unparalleled comfort and privacy.
Guests can enjoy a stylish bar, a comfortable lounge area, and an infinity pool with a boma area for evening relaxation under the stars.
Babanango Game Reserve is located 50 km from Vryheid in the malaria-free northern KwaZulu-Natal region and boasts 22,000 hectares of untouched wilderness, waiting to be explored by conservation and nature enthusiasts. The Babanango Valley Private Nature Reserve is home to giraffes, hyenas, zebras, various antelope species, and the elusive aardvark and aardwolf.
This reserve offers a captivating bush experience and the opportunity to be part of a greater conservation mission. The project benefits local communities while protecting precious wildlife for future generations.
