Description
Ballots Bay Treehouse is a unique beach home set in milkwood trees, perched above a protected pebble beach and the mouth of the Meul River. This is a haven for nature lovers. This unique wooden cabin is private and secluded, yet close to all modern amenities. Guests will find they are totally immersed in nature, whilst being in the comfort of a private and romantic beach house.
This tree house can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children, and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, an in-room corner bath as well as an en-suite shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living area is filled with natural light and features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is an 8-seater dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating, a fireplace and a TV with Netflix. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.
Through the sliding doors of the lounge, there is an expansive wooden deck with an outdoor dining table, braai facilities and sun loungers which is an ideal spot for guests to fully relax while overlooking the beach and the Meul Rivermouth.
For those wanting to explore, Ballots Bay offers numerous walking and hiking trails through Magic Forest which also has scenic picnic spots. On hot summer days, guests can cool down in the rock pools which are accessible via a rocky cliff path. There are additional braai facilities by the beach which is also an ideal spot for fishermen.
