Description
The Salty Surf Shack is a charming, free-standing beach house in Strand, offering relaxed coastal living just steps from the sand. Ideal for families, surfers, and groups of friends, the home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests and features spacious interiors, a sunny courtyard, and everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay.
The house comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower, while the second and third bedrooms each have a king-size bed and share a bathroom with a bath and shower. A bright sunroom at the entrance offers a double sleeper couch, providing space for 2 additional guests.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and all essential cookware, crockery, and utensils, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The kitchen opens directly onto a private courtyard, where guests can enjoy a built-in braai, outdoor seating, and a large umbrella — perfect for relaxed afternoons after a day on the beach. An outdoor shower is also available for rinsing off after swimming or surfing.
Guests enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the house, and the space is fitted with everything needed for a comfortable, homely stay.
Perfectly positioned just across the road from the beach, The Salty Surf Shack is within easy walking distance of local attractions, including Waterworld Park, Natural Energy Surf Store (offering surfboard and SUP rentals, as well as surfwear and accessories), Bootlegger Coffee, and Merkava Coffee, which is attached to a mini golf course.
A variety of other beachfront cafés, shops, and restaurants are also just around the corner, offering plenty to explore on foot.
