Thank you for your feedback. In response, the water pressure problem was the fault on the Municipality's side during your stay. We, however, did come out and assist you. We managed to rectify the problem by adding more of our private water pumps, which are currently working well. Due to recent high electricity hikes in SA, we opted for the five moveable fans rather than air conditioners. Unfortunately, most guests leave the fans/air conditioners on continuously even after they check out. Regards, Caroline

Not nice at all. Kitchen equipment wasn't in good state. The stove was super slow with only an extra small oven pan. Frying pans were full of rust, and only 3 old pots were available to use. The fridge door couldn't close properly, and there were ants in the kitchen. Fans in each room were full of dust and rust. No extra toilet rolls, no bath towels, and the light in one of the bathrooms wasn't working. We used our phones to light up the room. There were no extra blankets (good thing that the weather was good). I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Tried to make contact with the host, but she wasn't available when we left the place. We had an issue with the gate.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay at Beach House on Wye Road. We truly appreciate the opportunity to respond. Beach House is a newly built property, and all appliances and furnishings, including pots, pans, cutlery, the stove, and fridge, are either a year old or newer. The Defy four-plate stove and the fridge are in good working order. Being so close to the sea, two of the five fans have minor rust marks, but they remain fully functional. The house has five bathrooms, and we regret that one light globe was not working during your stay. Prior to check-in, guests are provided with detailed information about what is included at the property. As noted on our Facilities page, towels are not supplied; however, we provide starter toilet rolls and bin bags on the first day of your stay. At checkout, and leaving the property, you mentioned the gate won't close. Our technicians had a look at it and found that the gate was knocked or bumped while exiting. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience you experienced and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue to improve the guest experience.
