It was nice. The stay was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and the place is beautiful.

I will not recommend this place. We have stayed at several places in Cape Town and I must say this place was far from welcoming! Calls and requests weren't answered. We requested lids for the pots and an oven tray; this was ignored, calls ignored - no apology offered, just pots delivered the next day and left at the door outside.

Do recommend. I booked Bel Air for a romantic, intimate weekend away with my partner. The place was cosy, homey, neat, clean, and perfect for two people. The hot tub was amazing; the water remained hot even though the air was freezing cold. An overall cute stay. A braai area would have been a plus. Not much to do in the area, but we took a drive to Hermanus for the day.

Peaceful, ideal, conveniently located. Very quiet and peaceful. A good change from the daily grind. The facilities and amenities were exactly as described and shown in the images provided on the website. The only thing that was amiss for us was an outdoor fireplace to get some coals hot and get the braai going.

Great. A door could be added to the bathroom for privacy, but overall very nice. The stay was very pleasant. Very cosy and very private. However, we could do with a braai area. This is South Africa; we love our braai. The hot tub was a bonus.

Stay was okay we chose this place for the Hot Tub feature which was a let down. Our first day started out great. The place was clean and looked just as the pictures showed. The hot tub was hot and ready, and the fireplace was easy to use. The host, Chantelle, messaged shortly after our arrival, advising that the hot tub would be available until 10 p.m. as we were "awesome guests", and to be mindful of our neighbours, as they are older. To our surprise, at about 7:20 p.m., the hot tub was turned off. The water was still warm enough to enjoy, so we didn’t think too much of it. On our second and last day, we waited for it to be turned on again, as per the website, which states the hot tub can be used from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. We tried contacting the host via WhatsApp and phone, but had no luck. By 4 p.m., nothing had been turned on. We then called the website for assistance. A few minutes later, someone walked past and switched on the hot tub, but by then it was too late. We received no explanation, no apology, and still no reply from the host. The funniest part is that on the morning of checkout, the hot tub was on early.
