The visit was very fantastic. It was really nice at Bergland. The farmers are very cheerful. The service is very good. The shop was open at times when it shouldn't be open, especially on Christmas Day. The view is very, very beautiful. I will hopefully come and visit again.

Spectacular. Loved this campsite, we enjoyed every minute. Just suggesting two extra rows of steps down besides just in the middle to the ablution block for those camping on the top level; it would be very convenient. A hiking trail that goes a bit higher up the mountain, lol, but just my input.

Beautiful campsite! Bergland is beautiful with nice grass pitches between tall trees. The bathrooms are spacious and stylishly decorated. The bathrooms were always spotless. We will definitely come again.

We had a lovely time with friends, even though the wind blew all weekend. . It would be nice to have known that not all vehicles towing campers and caravans would make it to the campsite. Having a front wheel drive vehicle is not sufficient to tow fully loaded camping trailers or caravans up to the site. I now have to replace both front wheels after the weekend, due to the road surface up to the campsite. My front tyres are damaged and are no longer usable. Other campers in our group had to unhitch their caravan and were towed up by Tobie and his 4x4 bakkie. Otherwise, they would not have gotten up the hill. Thanks to the friends and family there with us, we had a great time. All was clean and the people around us were friendly. I will definitely recommend others to stay there but will let them know they need to have the right vehicle to access the campsite.
