Peaceful country getaway. The cottage has everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The air conditioning and hot tub/splash pool worked brilliantly during the hot days. We would love to return in the cooler months to make use of the fireplace and enjoy the pool as a hot tub. No expense was spared when it comes to the furniture, appliances, and décor. The interior is tastefully done and adds to the overall luxurious feel. The cottage was also exceptionally neat and clean. We loved the many windows and sliding doors, which offered beautiful views from every angle. The blockout curtains are a great addition for comfort and privacy. It was relaxing to watch the birdlife—we even heard a fish eagle and an owl. When we needed assistance, the owner responded immediately. The roosterkoek and farm butter waiting in the fridge on arrival were a lovely and thoughtful surprise. The cottage is also conveniently close to town, making it easy to grab a meal or visit the surrounding wine farms. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
