Description

Betta Lodge and Campsite is well known by travellers as an oasis on your gravel travels that cross the beautiful South-Western outback of the Namibian Desert.

Accommodation is offered at Betta Main Ground and Betta Mountain Camp. Betta Main Ground Chalets in natural stone, each room has its own en-suite shower and toilet with either twin or double bed configuration. Each chalet has a shaded patio with braai facilities and a seating area from where you can enjoy the sunset over the Namibian Desert. We provide a gas burner with basic kitchenette equipment.

Betta Mountain Camp is approximately 1.5km from the main ground, just across the gravel road. This site is designed to experience the scattered mountains that occur in the Namib Desert with no disturbance. This site is perfect for group tours to book out the entire place and have the whole “Lapa” area, swimming pool, and braai facilities exclusive to themselves.

At the mountain camp, we have 3 Luxury Camping Chalets as well as 2 basic campsites next to the pool. Betta Camp has a charming farm-style coffee and curio shop and a well-stocked kiosk with daily freshly baked goodies.
