Big 5 Safari Escape is a charming Game Lodge within the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, part of the Northern Section of the renowned Balule Nature Reserve in Phalaborwa. Sharing unfenced borders with the iconic Kruger National Park, the lodge offers guests an authentic Big Five safari experience.
The lodge features 1 self-catering chalet and 1 guest suite each accommodating 3 to 4 guests. The Family chalet is furnished with comfortable beds and a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. Guests can also enjoy self-catering facilities and a private patio with scenic views of the bushveld. The Guest Suite is furnished with a queen size bed and one single bed and on-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Wi-Fi is also available for guests' convenience.
Guests have access to the main lodge area, which includes a communal kitchen with self-catering amenities, a shared braai facility, and a refreshing communal swimming pool. Morning and evening guided game drives are available at an additional cost, led by experienced rangers.
