Bird X - Weaver is a unique unit made from a container and is located in Somerset West, a town in the Western Cape. This is the ideal place for a couple or a solo traveller.
The unit has an open-plan layout and accommodates two guests. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower.
The unit has a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, gas stove, kettle, toaster, and microwave. Guests can unwind on the porch with a stunning vlei view, as well as enjoy outdoor dining and braai facilities.
The vlei is alive with diverse birdlife, complemented by a scenic 2.7 km walkway and peaceful seating areas nestled throughout the landscape. Among the many beautiful birds guests will encounter, the flamingos are the true stars of the valley, gracing the area with their striking pink feathers.
The property is proud to host the Cheetah Outreach Centre, where guests can experience a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close encounter with these magnificent animals. Just a few steps down the road, guests will find the Lorenzo Marx Coffee Bar, offering excellent coffee and flavorful Mozambican-inspired cuisine, with something special for every guest.
