Blaauwheim Guest House is an exclusive establishment in Somerset West, run by co-owners Johan and Jo-Anne Blaauw.

Blaauwheim has a complete solar back-up system and 24-hour electricity, internet and Wi-Fi.

It consists of 2 luxurious suites, Pinotage and Chardonnay as well as a luxurious double bedroom called Shiraz . Each apartment comprises of a lounge, dining room, kitchenette, a spacious bedroom with en-suite full bathroom, an extra guest toilet and balcony/patio. There is ample secure parking available within the premises. The lush garden boasts a collection of cycads and indigenous yellowwood trees which are frequented by many different species of birds. All 3 rooms have private entrances.

Blaauwheim Guesthouse is in the heart of the famous Cape Winelands, near the safe long sandy beaches of the Strand and within easy reach of Hermanus, the whale watchers' paradise. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the range of golf courses on our doorstep.

Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in the country, is a mere 10 minutes away and Franschhoek will take another 15 minutes along a beautiful scenic route.

Our area is also blessed with a huge selection of the country's top restaurants.

Breakfast is included and other meals are optionally provided with a feast of traditional South African fare to choose from potjiekos, snoek, venison, breyani, bobotie, etc. Wine from our private cellar can be offered for dinner by prior arrangement. You could even have your own braai outdoors to enjoy the weather or relax by a sparkling splash pool after a hectic day of enjoying the beautiful Western Cape.

Wi-Fi, tea/coffee, parking and a Muscadel night cap are free of charge.
