Description

Black Eagle Lodges - The Lodge is a secluded, self-catering stone lodge located on Kempsrivier Farm, 13 km outside Caledon. The lodge is set on a dam and offers a tranquil farm-style retreat. The eco-friendly home makes use of solar-generated power and gas for kitchen appliances and hot water geysers.

The lodge can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom that is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The loft area above the fireplace offers a sleeping area for 2 extra children at an additional fee per child. Cotton linen, towels, blankets and hot water bottles are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a cosy dining table with chairs and a lounge with 2 couches and a stone fireplace.

The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has an outdoor dining table, sun loungers, and built-in braai facilities protected by a boma-style enclosure. There is also a wood-fired hot tub to the side of the house.
