Blue Crane & Guinea Fowl Cabin offer self-catering riverside accommodation on a working farm, located just outside Stanford and approximately a 15-minute drive from Hermanus. Set on the banks of the Klein River, these tranquil and family-friendly cabins provide a peaceful setting ideal for relaxing and recharging.
Each cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom furnished with a double bed, and a living area with 2 additional sleeping options. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin.
The kitchens are fully fitted for self-catering and include essential appliances and utensils, such as a stove and a fridge. Additional features include a complimentary coffee basket, Wi-Fi, canoes with oars, braai wood and grids, and fenced gardens that are pet-friendly. The cabins share a garden and boma area.
Guests can enjoy fishing from the jetty, swimming in the river, or paddling to Stanford using the available kayaks. The farm can also be explored by bicycle, and evenings by the river can be spent around a crackling fire with a glass of local wine and good company.
