Peaceful with animal companions! So peaceful! Our campsite, #18, was quite far from reception, tucked away in a very private little patch of bush. The little kitchen and bathroom were clean and very useful - lots of shelves to keep our belongings safe from the visitors! We were joined by a pair of beautiful genets both evenings as we braaied. We were careful to make sure they didn't get any snacks from us. The Nyala kept us company for most of our stay too - what a gem of a place! Note the conservation fee in the venue description. Well worth it! There was good Wi-Fi at reception, but there was also sporadic connectivity at our actual campsite too. We were able to receive and send WhatsApp messages most of the time.

Peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay at campsite 18. The stand is far from other stands. At night, bushbabies, bats, genets, and hyenas visit you. Bonamanzi has many roads you can drive and is a wonderful place, especially if you're a birdwatcher.

Community levy is steep. Our campsite was clean and grassed. There was a sewage smell around the drain of camp 14. Glad we were able to swap to 12. The bush pool was a welcome and refreshing, but the water was a bit green. Ablutions were clean on arrival but needed airing. When six people share one toilet and shower, daily cleaning would be appreciated. Nyala were beautiful and definitely dominated. The gennet in the trees and the cry of the bush baby at night was lovely. Monkeys were not a problem at all and kept their distance. The big four were elusive.

Unforgettably delicious. Very nice, the campsite is very neat, the ablution block is also very neat and clean. The only suggestion I would like to make is that they should look at the water pressure in the ablutions.
