Brackenburn Trout and Trail Retreat is situated in the picturesque Kamberg Valley in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and is a top fly fishing destination with self-catering accommodation. This retreat features a 6 km trail for mountain biking and hiking.
Comfortable accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering cottages with braai facilities. The cottages consist of either 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests each.
Each cottage includes an open-plan lounge and a kitchen that is equipped with self-catering facilities. The lounge in each cottage includes a fireplace, a TV, and comfortable couches. The property offers 3 dams stocked with rainbow and brown trout, along with 1 km of pristine Little Mooi River frontage for an exceptional trout fishing experience.
For the keen birders, there is a bird hide on the property, as well as a jungle gym to keep the children entertained. Activities in the area include horse riding and golf. There is also a pub and grill close by.
