Brenton Views is a spacious, solar-powered holiday home located in the coastal village of Brenton-on-Sea, Knysna. This tranquil retreat is ideal for families or friends seeking a relaxed getaway along the Garden Route. The property is equipped with large water tanks and offers 180-degree unobstructed panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Situated just 250 m (a few minutes' walk) from the main beach, guests can regularly spot abundant birdlife, local game such as buck and tortoises, and marine life including whales and dolphins directly from the house.
The house accommodates 6 adults and 2 children (with additional toddlers possible by prior arrangement) and consists of 3 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms. The master suite features a queen-size bed, a sleeper couch for two children, a large dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath, shower, and double vanity. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer with a water and ice dispenser, double oven, convection microwave, air fryer, and a Nespresso Lattissima machine. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests can dine at the long breakfast nook or the 8-seater dining table. The spacious lounge offers ample seating for large groups, a smart TV with DStv, and strong WiFi.
Outdoor living is a highlight, featuring a private balcony, patio, and a beautiful garden with a fire pit, braai facilities, and a swimming pool. Two sets of outdoor furniture and seating for up to 14 people make it perfect for alfresco entertaining. By prior arrangement, guests may also access a second pool, a gym, and additional indoor/undercover braai areas. A gardener services the pool and garden twice weekly, and a housekeeper can be arranged on request.
The property offers secure on-site parking and is monitored by security cameras. The owners often vacation in the neighboring house and are readily available to assist guests.
The property is situated within a 20 km radius of Knysna’s top attractions, including the Knysna Heads, Pezula Golf Club, and the vibrant Knysna Waterfront. Nature lovers can enjoy numerous hiking trails, forest walks, and water sports in the nearby lagoon.
