Bushbabies Lodge is located on the north-eastern side of Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve, offering a peaceful bush setting away from city traffic, lights and noise. The lodge features lush gardens with a large shaded lawn area where guests can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The lodge offers a variety of self-catering accommodation options, including luxury chalets such as a family unit, honeymoon suite and couples unit. Each unit includes a private boma. The secluded honeymoon suite is located along the Big 5 fence line and features a heated splash pool.
Bushbabies Lodge also offers safari tented camps consisting of dome tents furnished with either double or single beds, as well as a junior dome tent set on a 1-metre elevated platform, which is popular with younger guests. The tented camps are equipped with cutlery, crockery, a bar fridge, linen and towels, and each unit has a private ablution facility and boma.
Spacious caravan sites are available and include private ablution facilities and a boma. These shaded sites also provide electrical and water connections, and many overlook the reserve fence line.
On-site facilities include The Slide, a restaurant, gin bar and coffee shop offering an extensive menu that includes sourdough pizzas and burgers, as well as a selection of craft beers and wines. The venue also offers catered conferencing facilities.
Guests can relax at two communal swimming pools with a lapa and covered braai area overlooking a waterhole where wildlife can often be seen. Families can also enjoy a bush-style play area with a splash pad, rock-climbing wall and interactive chalkboard wall. Additional activities available in the area include guided game drives, bush walks, mobile spa treatments and family-friendly outdoor experiences.
