Description
Bushbaby River Lodge is situated in the exclusive section of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and offers exceptional birdlife and wildlife sightings. Nyala, kudu, duiker, waterbuck, zebra, warthog, bushbabies, large-spotted genets, porcupines, and even leopard can occasionally be seen around the lodge.
The lodge offers 5 deluxe, thatched-roof cottages, each accommodating 2 guests (a baby cot or extra bed for children can be arranged on request). All cottages feature an extra-length king-size bed with a mosquito net and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and an outdoor shower. Each cottage is air-conditioned, equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, Wi-Fi and a hairdryer, and opens onto a private veranda overlooking either the dry riverbed or the garden.
For families or guests seeking additional privacy, the lodge also features the exclusive Cheetah Villa, a stand-alone 2-bedroom unit accommodating up to 4 guests. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and the villa includes a private deck and plunge pool.
A hot and cold breakfast is served each morning in the dining area. Guests can cool off in the large swimming pool or relax in the outdoor lapa. The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate also offers walking and cycling routes, and guided safari drives can be arranged. Orpen Gate, one of the main entrances to Kruger National Park, is just 75 km away, ideal for a memorable day trip.
Beyond the estate, guests can explore a wide range of attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, the famous Panorama Route, scenic boat trips, quad biking adventures, cultural and wildlife experiences and much more. Our team will gladly assist with recommendations and bookings.
