Excellent stay in a very well-kept and well-equipped unit. The stay was excellent. The house was clean and tidy, and very well equipped. There were ample dishes, bedding, cleaning supplies etc. The estate itself is absolutely beautiful, and this unit is central and situated very close to the trail to the private beach as well as the pool and entertainment areas.

One with nature. I found the photos to be a little misleading regarding the building; I was under the impression it was a standalone property. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful place. One shower door in the ensuite was missing, and the braai can also be replaced as there was a huge hole from rusting away; I had to use a rock to cover it up and be able to put charcoal in it. Other than that, very nice, thank you! I loved the stoep and colours throughout the house and the artwork! No WiFi password, so I was unable to use it, but no biggie either.

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit was comfortable and the layout practical. The unit is a little tired and needs minor maintenance. The kettle braai was a disaster; the bottom grid was so badly rusted that it was impossible to use. I did report it. We had a few maintenance issues which were dealt with efficiently and promptly. The lady who serviced the unit was a delight; she was friendly, helpful, and kept the unit spotless.

Very beautiful estate. Caribbean Estates is a beautiful estate, and there are paths directly to the beach and to the river. The kitchen is very well equipped, which is a plus. The view from the porch was really lovely too. The WiFi was not working, and although it was promised that someone would be sent to fix it, unfortunately it did not happen (we were there for 10 days). Some in our group had to work, and relied on the fact that there would be WiFi (as advertised). The loft is advertised as a room for two adults and two children. However, this is not the case. The photos do not show the true situation. The loft is completely open - there is no interior door, and there is also no wall to make it private, but just a regular balcony railing through which you can see. From the front door and kitchen, you can look directly into the loft. We had to hang swimming towels over the railings to have just a little bit of privacy. In one of the photos where the unit is advertised, a door can be seen in the attic room, and the reasonable assumption is that this is the door to the room that leads to the rest of the house. This is not the case. During our visit, there was a chest of drawers in front of that door, and the door was closed (it probably leads to another room that the owners keep private). In addition, this chest of drawers is not nearly big enough for two adults and two children's clothes (we were two adults and one child in this room), and the drawers of the chest of drawers also struggle to open and close when there are clothes in it. This room is more suitable for children. This put quite a damper on our vacation.

Lovely. The estate itself is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a relaxing and scenic environment. However, guest services left much to be desired. Staff were not particularly friendly and didn’t make much effort to enhance our stay. We were also surprised by an additional charge for changing towels, which felt excessive and was not clearly communicated upfront. A little more focus on hospitality would make a big difference.
