The Chardonnay suite offers spacious accommodation located on a beautiful estate situated approximately 5 km from the centre of Franschhoek. Surrounded by vineyards and mountain views, this suite is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful escape.

This Suite is perfectly furnished for two adults with a king-size bed, premium bed linen, and an en-suite bathroom, equipped with all the luxuries needed to enjoy your stay such as a spa bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor fireplace, and an outdoor patio with your own wood-fired hot tub.

The kitchen is fully equipped with top-quality appliances and a Nespresso machine complete with complimentary pods, sugar sachets, tea, and a small milk.

A daily breakfast is included for each guest at David's Bistro, located on the estate, with one breakfast menu item and one hot or cold beverage. Between 07:00 am and 10:00 am.

Free WiFi is available, and a backup generator ensures minimal disruption during load shedding.

A welcome basket awaits guests on arrival. Mountain bicycles are available for hire on the farm, while premium picnics and wine tastings can be arranged with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Assistance with lighting the wood-fired hot tub is available during working hours.

Please note that each suite is supplied with 20 pieces of firewood and a small pack of firelighters. Additional firewood is available for purchase should it be required.

La Roche is a working farm with active vineyards and pecan orchards. Farming activities take place Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:00.

Note: The room is built above a pump room, which controls the water for the farm, and this creates a slight humming sound. A rather soothing sound, but something to note for sensitive sleepers ;)

Guests can also visit David’s Bistro, located on the estate, for breakfast, lunch, freshly brewed coffee, and refreshments. The estate additionally features a pétanque court and a child-friendly area for families to enjoy. David’s Bistro is open from Wednesday to Sunday between 07:00 and 16:00.

A minimum stay of 1 night applies.
