Cheetah Paw Safari Lodge is set within the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, on the edge of the Thornybush Game Reserve. Away from the traditional “Big 5” areas, the lodge offers affordable luxury and the freedom to walk safely between your tent and the main lodge.
Each luxury tent is tucked into the bush, providing privacy while remaining within easy walking distance of the lodge. Every terrace overlooks a waterhole, framed by the stunning Drakensberg Mountains, where guests can watch wildlife gather or enjoy unforgettable sunsets. The peaceful atmosphere invites you to unwind and fully immerse yourself in the South African bush.
The tented main lodge features a spacious lounge with a TV for those who wish to catch up on the news or sports. A viewing deck with a sparkling pool offers the perfect spot to relax while observing animals at the waterhole. The lodge bar provides a welcoming space to enjoy a sundowner as the sun sets over the bush.
Depending on the weather, guests are served a set 3-course dinner either in the lodge’s dining area or on the deck. Meals are accompanied by the natural soundtrack of the bush, where the occasional lion roar adds to the authentic safari experience.
